As a mixed media artist, it excites me to experiment with different materials and combine them in unexpected ways. Combining fabric, various types of paint, glass, nails, bits of maps and stitching, I create brightly colored paintings with pattern, texture and depth. Playing with space by pushing it forward and back, I am creating maps, pathways and points of travel for the viewers’ eyes to wander through.

I have received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and my Masters Degree from Columbia University in New York. You can view my resume for a more indepth look at my experience, including awards and gallery showcases.
