CHRISTEN KOJNOK

Christen Kojnok, currently living in New England, is a self-taught artist. Her passion is to create expressive, imaginative and romantic worlds of unique and surreal like figures, often containing hidden subtle subliminal images. Her philosophy is that there is always room for improvement as she is always pushing the boundaries for her own art. Most of her talent stems from her ability to grasp new techniques very quickly, and always staying open to new ways of applying her visions and ideas.

Her inspirations vary, so it all depends on the things she has been surrounded by. Whether it’s movies, art, music, dreams or just life, she is affected by the things that stir the passion in her life and puts in forth in her work.

Her education was attending a very small collage in her home town to learn web design originally, which was part of a two year graphics design program. After college she continued studying on her own and then a few years later she started to really take an interest in professional photography and digital art. This new interest inspired a lot of new research. It has been a hard and long road, but Christen is determined. She has learned a lot for someone who didn’t know even the simple fundamentals of art, painting and composition. She is currently studying and researching hard, as her goal is to become better and to learn something new with each creation.
